Construction Program Management Engineer

  • Review and process work order authorization requests submitted by engineering offices and other organizations
  • Verify that capital project work order authorization requests conform to project management plans: contract plans, specifications and change orders.
  • Process operational maintenance and administrative work orders.
  • Verify that state, federal and local spending authority is available to support funding requests and reviews scope of work and cost estimate for compliance with state and federal regulations.
  • Operates the process by which client distributes work order authorization amounts to the group level in order to track authorization of funds by PIN, fund appropriation, federal grant, payable and reimbursable agreement, etc.
  • Monitor, identify problems, follows-up with corrective action and closes work orders and task orders. This work requires updating various reporting systems to ensure that work order authorization requests are properly documented
  • Monitor, maintain and update project information in client systems related to project scope, schedule, fund authorization, cost estimates, expenditure plan aging and actual expenditures to ensure that all data is accurate and reasonable, based on information from various sources.
  • Assist in the accomplishment of capital project change management actions and update in various databases.
  • Assist the Consultant Liaison Engineer with consultant agreements, supplements and tasks orders coordinating and preparation of second-tier consultant solicitations in consultation with project engineers; payment of invoices; and transfer of expenditures through the journal voucher process. The work includes maintaining and updating various databases.
  • Attend meetings and training as assigned or needed
  • Analyze data and prepare reports, correspondence, and updates
  • Communicate effectively both orally and in writing
 
Start: 8/1/2018 till 7/31/2019
Duration of 12 months with option to extend
Location: Downtown Seattle
Pay: $50 per hour
