IT Functional Business Analyst

IT Business Analysis is directly involved in the software development life cycle (SDLC). The Analyst provides guidance on how to design, develop, and implement IT software, not only as an organizational capability but also as a strategic asset. IT Business Analysis gather user requirements, translate them into technical requirements, and facilitate the software design process with IT architects and developers. IT Business Analysis assembles, analyzes, and evaluates data to make appropriate and well-reasoned recommendations and decisions to support the business stakeholders and the project team. Excellent oral and written communication skills are required.


Experienced in the various skills, techniques, and methodologies for analyzing business processes, discovering and translating customer needs into documented requirements leading to design or procurement of a solution. These may include: process flows, context maps, use cases, user stories, interviews, workshop facilitation, modeling current state and future state, data analysis, business rules analysis, decision analysis, develop requirements specification, requirements validation and prioritization, and user centered design


-       Understanding of computer languages
-       Understanding of gathering business requirements
-       Develops technical specifications
-       Bachelor’s degree preferred
