Manager of Corporate Services, Marketing, & Communications
 
Scope
Principally responsible for identifying and recruiting new corporate/public agency members as well as retaining existing corporate/public agency members. The Manager of Corporate Services, Marketing, & Communications works closely with the President and Chief Executive Officer to build innovative marketing and branding solutions to expand existing corporate business to drive growth in both revenue (resources developed) and goodwill. Along with new revenue generation, the Manager of Corporate Services, Marketing, & Communications is responsible for leading best-in-class customer service experience for members following the initial engagement.
Skills:
  • Corporate Relations – foundational experience (Regional or National level) with market-leading corporate organizations. This should include a history of working directly with Corporate Management counterparts on new membership or institutional initiatives.
  • Supply Chain Management and Supplier Diversity – experience in sourcing and procurement and/or supplier diversity.
  • B2B/Enterprise Prospecting - Solution selling or corporate membership and/or resource development experience in other industries—where business platforms are similar, and skills are transferable (e.g., Enterprise Software, Corporate Marketing, Higher Education Fundraising, Financial Services, Consulting, etc.).
  • Business Development – Track record of effectively developing new business with new strategic members using a systemic approach to managing a portfolio of new opportunities through the prospect or membership funnel. While the key focus of the role is new business with new members, there is also an expectation that this role will help cultivate new opportunities within existing members (e.g., cross-selling or referrals) in collaboration with the company resources handling ongoing corporate business.

Ability to supervise an administrative assistant and/or a student intern as required.
