Fiscal Specialist II- Customer Service

PRIMARY JOB FUNCTIONS
· Scanning large volumes of permit renewals using barcode scanner (Accuracy is critical) 
· Prepare and verify daily cash sheets
· Perform batch entry reconciliations daily and be able to research and correct discrepancies
· Greet customers at the front desk, process payments, enter and update information into database
· Provide Exceptional  Customer Service- Provide specialized and/or technical information that requires moderate interpretation of established policies, procedures, and guidelines to internal and/or external customers on the phone and in person. 
· Process change of ownerships and assist other staff with processing these
· Provide technical assistance to both internal and external customers with regard to appropriate and applicable codes, polies, regulations, contracts and laws.
· Filing
· Send out past due notices
· Perform other duties as assigned
    Experience, Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills:
The successful candidate should have:
 Strong written and verbal skills. 
 Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate with customers using discretion, patience, etiquette, and professionalism.
· Ability to follow oral and written instructions; adjust to changes in workload demands; and research, gather and compile technical information from a variety of sources. 
Strong organization and problem solving skills.
Intermediated computer skills, including MS Office applications such as Word, Excel, and Outlook.
 Skill in process high volumes of data entry while  maintaining data accuracy and integrity.
 Strong math and analytical skills.
 Skill in the use of automated financial and management information systems, word processors, barcode scanners, spreadsheets,  and databases
· Excellent time management and priority setting skills; able to handle multiple tasks with extreme accuracy.
Skill in tracking and following through on assignments.
 Demonstrated ability to quickly learn new computer applications.
 Sensitivity and patience working with people from diverse backgrounds.
 Ability to positively contribute in a team environment; actively listens to others and builds trust and confidence.
· Demonstrated reliability and attendance.

Duration: 6 months

Rate: $20.43 per hour
40 hours per week
