Distinguishing Characteristics
Assist on projects and work is performed under direct supervision.. The Project/Program Manager I gathers data and prepares information for others to review and may handle routine inquiries about the subject matter, program or project. The incumbent is not required to have program-specific experience upon entry into the position.
Examples of Duties (May vary by position)
  1. Gather data for analysis.
  2. Perform preliminary analysis.
  3. Network with other jurisdictions to coordinate and share information.
  4. Draft correspondence.
  5. Respond to inquiries about procedures, processes or relevant regulations and laws.
  6. Assist with budget development and monitoring.
  7. Assist with drafting reports, issue papers and plans.
  8. Develop expenditure reports.
  9. Perform other duties as assigned.
Knowledge/Skills (May vary by position)
Knowledge of research methods
Basic quantitative skills
Written and oral communications skills
Analytical and problem-solving skills
Skills in gathering, manipulating and using data utilizing a computer and other tools
Skill in working as an effective team member
Licensing/Certification Requirements
Some licenses, certifications and other requirements determined to be necessary to meet the business needs of the employing unit may be required.

Location: Downtown Seattle
Rate: $29.17 per hour
