Temporary Office Filing Clerk
Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Temporary Office Filing Clerk to assist with document organization and record-keeping in a professional office setting. This temporary role will last between 1 to 6 months, depending on business needs.
Responsibilities:
- Sort, organize, and file paper and digital documents accurately
- Maintain an efficient filing system for easy document retrieval
- Label and categorize files according to office procedures
- Assist with scanning, copying, and data entry as needed
- Retrieve and re-file documents as requested by staff
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
- Perform light administrative duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Previous office or administrative experience preferred but not required
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and follow filing procedures
- Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office and scanning software)
- Ability to lift and move file boxes (up to 20 lbs.)
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday, standard office hours (exact schedule may vary)
- Part-time or Full-time
Location: Mount Vernon, WA
Pay: $17.50 per hour
Duration: 1 to 6 months
