Scope elements:
- In-house full time Electrical Engineering support for approximately 3 months, may be extended if needed
- Must be able to work independently, and as part of a team as a lead electrical engineer on design and maintenance projects for client.
- Must be able to work under a tight schedule at times
Requirements
The individual(s) proposed must meet the following requirements:
o Registered Professional Engineer, Electrical, in the State of Washington is highly desirable.
o Strong knowledge of the National Electrical Code
o Minimum of 5 yrs experience developing Plans, Specifications, and Construction
Cost Estimates on projects that include the following design elements:
- Power Distribution Systems
- Lighting Systems
- Communication Systems
- Motor and Equipment Control Systems
- Knowledge and design skills on PLC Control System is desired but not required
o Ability to perform electrical inspections on movable bridges and Ferry Terminal power distribution and lighting systems and produce a report on finding and recommendations
o Familiarity with WSF Terminal Project work and the WSF Terminal Design Manual a plus
General Assumptions
• The anticipated period of services is from March 18, 2019 through June 30, 2019
